This April, we are launching one of our most awaited services on curtain cleaning. We’ve had several customers asking for a curtain cleaning service and we can now say that it’s finally here!
Our cleaning process is effective in removing dirt, allergens, and bad odour. Additionally, it minimizes the risk of shrinkage and damage. Depending on the fabric type, we will use the wet or dry cleaning method. Currently, we handle these types of curtains:
- Drapery, blackout/night curtain,
- Sheet/day curtain
- Box pleat/pelmet
Our outdoor technicians will perform the cleaning on-site at your home, so all you have to do is open the door when we arrive!

Curtain Cleaning: The Process
Step 1: Area preparation
Our team will install a plastic sheet on the back of the railing rod to prevent water from splashing on the wall and window. We will also check on the condition of the curtains to identify any damages like discolouration, torn or rot.
Step 2: Pre-vacuum
A dry suction vacuum is operated to absorb insoluble dirt such as dust/cobwebs/lizard droppings etc. on the curtains and railing rods.

Step 3: Spray detergent
The outdoor technicians will spray a mild detergent soap on the surface of the curtain. This is to trap the light dirt on the curtains.
Step 4: Brushing
With a brush or sponge, our outdoor technicians will agitate the detergent with the dirt on the curtain for maximum effectiveness.
Step 5: Rinsing
To rinse, our team will use a machine that sucks up the dirt and soap.
Step 6: Spray fragrance
The effect of the fragrance will last for 3 days. For customers who do not wish to go through this step, please inform the sales team or technicians.
