A 3-star hotel in KL approached us for our deep cleaning services to maintain a clean and healthy environment for their guests. We were tasked with cleaning the carpeted areas, fabric sofas, stools, benches, and dining chairs in the lobby.
Project Background
The hotel is located in the bustling area of Chinatown in Kuala Lumpur, catering to a mix of both leisure and business travelers. The hotel offers comfortable and affordable accommodation and strives to maintain high cleanliness standards to ensure a pleasant stay for its guests.
Challenges faced
The carpeted areas of the hotel had dirty patches and trails of trolley wheels, which were a challenge to remove. Additionally, the hotel was occupied with guests, which made it difficult for us to carry out the cleaning process without causing any disruption.
Our Solution
We deployed three teams of two technicians on the first day to clean the 5950 square feet carpet area, and also three teams of two technicians on the second day to clean the covered area of 8500 sq ft, including the fabric sofas, stools, benches, and dining chairs in the lobby. We provided plastic shoe covers for guests on specific floors during the drying process to ensure minimal disruption. To address the dirty patches and trails of trolley wheels on the carpeted areas, we used a combination of deep cleaning methods, including dry cleaning and hot water extraction, to lift the dirt and stains effectively. For the fabric sofas, we used a low-moisture cleaning method to avoid damage and ensure quick drying.
The Results
After two days of deep cleaning, we were able to restore the carpets and upholstery to their original condition. The dirty patches and trails of trolley wheels on the carpeted areas were completely removed, and the fabric sofas, stools, benches, and dining chairs were left looking and smelling fresh and clean. The hotel was extremely satisfied with our work and commended us for our professionalism and efficiency. They have since engaged us for regular cleaning services to maintain the high standards of cleanliness for their guests.
